Schurigeln Who?
Hi, my name is Christian, and I'm a Product Designer and Part-Time Coder based in Hamburg, Germany. I enjoy using and creating products to the extent that I cannot help myself from fiddling around with all sorts of technologies whenever there is a spare moment.
Over the course of the last two years, I've been leaning heavily into app development for Apple platforms. I'm especially eager to enrich the app landscape of Apple's often-overlooked firstborn: the Mac. This might be in contrast to the general trend of focusing on mobile, but since I spend the biggest part of my day using my Mac, I'd rather give back some love than join the cool-kids on their mobile adventures.
Being a total beginner myself, I know the pain of getting started with Mac development, particularly because a lot of basic information is poorly documented or not documented at all. There are so many things I've wasted hours on researching and trying simply because I couldn't find the answer.
That's why I decided to start this blog: to cover simple but common techniques and tricks that will help you create your very first app. I hope y'all like it.
